2020 has been an eventful year to say the least and now we are topping it off with the anticipated elections coming up between Joe Biden and Donald Trump on November 3, 2020. Although both have very strong supporters on each side, it’s hard to tell who’s going to win as of yet. Regardless of who wins, tensions will definitely be high for a while as people come to terms with the changes. Now more than ever the world needs to show each other more love and be kinder to our neighbors. Changes are being made and history is being written, it’s important to be a part of the right side of history.
These are the times future generations will learn about. Although many people have chosen to miss out on voting because they don’t believe their vote will matter (considering things like the electoral college) they’re wrong. EVERY VOTE MATTERS. Ask your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers if they’re going to vote and if they are not, spread the information on the importance of voting.
Not a lot of people around the world have the privilege to vote, but Americans do and it is something we should take more seriously as a country. It’s a chance for the government to fix mistakes and listen to the people they’re supposed to be helping. As it is a serious topic and the candidates beliefs are different, it is important to really educate yourselves on their policies and past and what they wish for this country. Remember to stay safe and spread love!
